I LOVE JEANS.. BUT… [VIEW FULL POST]

How easy is it to get in to the bad books of your staff in college? Simple.. Wear the funkiest jean in town. Oops but today’s jeans are much more than just worn out. They contain nasty tags, scribbling,embroideries, belts and pockets in totally useless locations. They make a few give that second look and even a few eyes fix on it. Wow is that not one purpose of wearing funky jeans?

Very unluckily for boys with such a taste all teachers in college (they must have held a meeting i suppose...) pin down them as bad guys. “How the f**k does my wearing jeans bothers them??? " Is the question from those who love wearing such jeans. The current educational system in the state does not focus on a hundred things to be changed or to be implemented. But the call now is on the misfortune of those jean lovers.

It says students are asked to wear formal pants. (wat? formal pants.? U mean those worn with blazers? Heh i aint going for an ad for Raymond. I m leaving for college!!) Stupid again is the call again banning t shirts. (I know u.. u ll not let me sit comfty wit at shirt but with a full sleeve shirt n of course its gotto be pressed too.)

The system needs to focus on many things needed to develop the style of education. If a student doesn bring a note book to class.. whistles n addresses the professor.. disturbs fella students.. takes his book inside the exam hall (of course jus a few important papers inside his boxers…”bit”) or wat more ??? these can be blamed and are to be dealt severe. But how does a disparity arise when I wear a formal pant and a jean when inside a class room? I know.. the jeans are made of a color which produces rays of higher wave length and peep into the professor’s eyes.. stupid. sh** oh me the professor ‘s daughter loves these funky jeans n got an eye on the boy too…

Institutions like IIT and BITS-PILANI do not have any dress codes. And I guess they are the most recognized education centers in India. Students are allowed to beat their maximum liberty over there. So why not the same here too? We need to be comfortable while inside the class room. The actual reason behind the love for jeans is dat its ruggedddd. Don have to wash it for a week unlike normal trousers. I know a few guys who wear it semesters together without washing them.. but it doesn bother any one. Does it? If so how?

So all jean lovers of engineering colleges in the state.. Please lets not deny freedom of wearing wat we like. After all its all to cover up the skin..
