The DOLL…

Too much monomaniacal about the doll,

She is a doll, my mind reassured! Longing…

Many a doll comely, but “the doll” is special.

“the doll” is not thy doll, yet left a deep crush!

My friend had to voyage to the doll’s island.

I took up the burden! Doll – here I come!

A journey, I traveled just blushing throughout

more joy than a kid on way to a ICE cream shop.

Stepping on the isle, my eyes seeking the glorious vision

But all in vain! I floated on a tub of disappointment.

Enervated, I packed my bags, my eyes didn’t feast yet

A slice of hope remained, a ping! I glanced back.

Brightness manifested. Up sprung the doll

Eyes closed. Heh you - Blooming Sleeping beauty.

Shouting loads of thanks to god in my mind

She blushed, the reason I ll never know, never.

If I had one wish, I ask for the moment she blushed

To stagnate in my mind. The wish need’n be granted.

The blush remained in my mind evergreen till today.

Don know though how long. I m crazy about the doll

Pulchritudinous, too beautiful even put in to pieces, lovely

No one but god and me knows, the purpose of the voyage

The delight and the melancholy I swimmed on for days

What hath not she? Beauty on its acme! Lord is great!

Half a dozen summers went past. Thee seen many dolls

Almost a dozen entered my mind –all volatile. All but the doll

On the second voyage- I thanked thy friend again. Twice.

My eyes drenched in the beauty, oh more sleepless nights ahead
