Liverpool, five time champions and well on top in the premier league is having a real tough time at the uefa champions league. With just a point from two games, liverpool faced besiktas.

Early in the game, besiktas went ahead with a own goal from heppia. It was unlucky. Besiktas seemed to have a mission at hand and the game was truly of high quality.

All went bad, when besiktas scored again and almost sealed the match. Gerrad scored the first goal of this season to bring liverpool back in to the game. But it was all too late. Liverpool now need three wins to qualify for the next stage!!
